Introducing Becoming
Hi hi hiiii guys,
Welcome or welcome back, so glad to have you here :)
Today’s blog will be the introduction to something that i’ve had in my mind to do since last year Jan, and after 19 months - here we finally go! So this is the introduction to what I call the ‘Becoming Series’
And so first things first - what is the becoming series?
Since having the initial idea for the series, I have written about 5 different answers to this question, trying to steer where I’m actually going to go with this. Because I didn’t want to start and just be talking for no reason - lol. But I think I FINALLY, really, actually have it!
And that is to simply to talk on the journey of becoming the women God has purposed for us to be - that’s it :)
The purpose of this series is simply to take you on the journey with me as I grow, with the hope that as you read you can relate. And that we can all become the women that God has called us to be together - by His grace. Because the choices we make now, and how we choose to learn and position our hearts now will ultimately have a huge part to play in who we become.
So as I learn through the seasons of life, learn how to carry myself, learn how to respond in situations, learn from my mistakes, and by God’s grace grow, I will be writing and sharing my thoughts.
And so, we will be touching on many different topics, varying from money management, to boundaries, to friendships - imma touch on it alllll.
But all with Jesus and His Word as the inspiration behind it all. Because I believe that God is concerned with every part of our lives big & small, and so in each blog we’re not just chatting for chattings sake, or just reading a whole load of what “Khairah thinks” - oh no no no no. The purpose of this is to look at life but from a Godly perspective, because if we want to be Godly women then He must be the source and where absolutely everything flows from - so yeah :)
But that’s not it… this is where it gets exciting - well I find it exciting lol! I won’t be doing this alone! The bible says in, 1 Peter 5:5,
“Likewise, you younger men [of lesser rank and experience], be subject to your elders [seek their counsel]…” (AMP)
& Job 12:12
“With the aged [you say] is wisdom, and with long life is understanding.” (AMP)
And so, for a few of the blogs I will be joined by some amazing women who have & continue to pour into my life and the lives of other women. And quite frankly who know a whole lot more than I do about this thing called life, and so I deem it important & a blessing to be able to speak to and learn from women whose lives show the evidence of Christ. Who are also becoming the women God has called them to be, but are a lot further along the path than I am ;)
So yeah there is the introduction! So excited to do this, and for you all to come along with me as we learn & grow together!
My prayer is that as you read you will be able to relate and that you continuously become who God has called you to be. No matter your past or who you have been, no matter how good or bad you think you are, God is way bigger than us. And so who He is able to make you into is more than you could ever imagine. Not a self made girl - a God made girl. & not just for you, but so that others and the Kingdom of God can be blessed by your life and who God is moulding you into too!
Last thing I wanted to note is this - we will forever be ‘becoming’ until we meet Jesus. We will never reach or attain a level of not needing to grow anymore lol, so I can’t tell you exactly how long this becoming series will go on for.
